  1. Excellent CD from "Yellow Dog Records" of PT's Tommy demos with PT playing all instruments and some versions different than the final legit release of Tommy. This CD originally came in a gatefold "digi-pack", not the commonly used CD jewel cases. Compare with the titles listed above. Words can't describe how truly great this CD is!
  2. Tommy is the fourth studio album by the English rock band The Who, a double album first released in May The album was mostly composed by guitarist Pete Townshend as a rock opera that tells the story about a "deaf, dumb and blind" boy, including his experiences with life .

  6. The audio features the original album re-mastered along with a wealth of previously unheard material in the form of 20 demos from Pete Townshend's archive and also a full live performance of Tommy from taken from tapes that infamously Townshend asked the band's sound engineer to burn. 18 of the previously unheard and thought to be long /5(67).
  7. So, if The who are not well known by some of you, just give "Tommy" a try, go to the mirror and smash it. And even if after Tommy's recovery, the crowd will tell him that they're not going to take it, I'm sure sure you will. My fave out of this fabulous album is the closing number "We're not gonna take it".4/5(36).
  8. The Who – “We’re Not Gonna Take It” Tommy is a work of pure genius. Greatness and genius are terms thrown around and often misapplied to recognize celebrity, but the truly, truly gifted.
